Black Hide Steakhouse has won the Steak Restaurant category for the third year running at the 2016 QLD & NT Savour Awards for Excellence.
Director and Restaurant & Catering Australia (R&CA) member John Gambaro says, “We couldn’t have won three years running without the support of our guests and the dedication of our team”. “The committed Black Hide team has worked consistently since opening in 2014. The continued recognition motivates us to keep earning our place each year among Queensland’s best restaurants”.
More than 550 local restaurants, cafes and catering businesses gathered to celebrate the achievements of their peers who were judged across 38 categories, with the winners announced at the Awards for Excellence ceremony held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The Awards for Excellence is a nationally recognised, independently judged awards program that celebrates exceptional service and culinary talent across the state. The Awards for Excellence is the only program in Australia where the judging criteria is determined by consumers who rank what is important to them in the dining experience.
Gambaro’s Restaurant & Function Centre also made it as finalists in 3 other categories including; Seafood Restaurant, Wedding Caterer and Function/Convention Centre Caterer.
